The Ca’ Lvnae Museum, dedicated to the material culture of wine, is housed in the rooms of the ancient manor house. It began with the personal collection by Paolo Bosoni of ancient objects and findings during more than 30 years of research, classification and cataloguing under the guidance of experts and historians.

It is made up of five rooms where five specific scenes are reproduced depicting the occasions, places and people that are so typical of this world: the land, the harvest, the craftsmanship, the cellar, the wine.

Video installations and small items of contemporary art, which are gradually discovered during the visit, seek to communicate the central idea of the museum: the fundamental bond between past and future, between tradition and research, which have always been the basis of LVNAE’s philosophy.

The museum was recently enhanced with a permanent photographic exhibition entitled “Io mi ricordo.. A m’arcordo”. This is a visual depiction of the memories of country folk and the rural life in the Colli di Luni up to 1960, through photographic images and moving pictures.

The work displayed in the exhibition, made up of more than 300 photos, was put together thanks to the contributions of individual citizens, public bodies and local museums that were encouraged to take part through an awareness campaign aimed at the appreciation and promotion of the territory (in the cultural, tourism and entrepreneurial sphere).
